In addition to providing you with guaranteed income for as long as you live, the Helios Contract’s Guaranteed Lifetime Withdrawal Benefit can even increase your retirement income for life.

Every three years, the protected value of your investment is compared to its Market Value. When the Market Value is higher, your protected value is adjusted upwards. The result is higher income for the rest of your life.

Is the GLWB Maximum Amount automatically reset after the GLWB Protected Value is reset?
- The GLWB Protected Value is reset on the anniversary of the GLWB Election Date, while the GLWB Maximum Amount is calculated on January 1 of each GLWB Year.

Does the payout percentage used to calculate retirement income always stay the same?

Your GLWB Payout Percentage may increase when you are entitled to a reset and when you enter a higher age bracket which will then be used to calculate your income.
