Your Travel Insurance premium is based on:
- Your age
- How long you'll be away
- Your health
- The coverage(s) and amount(s) of insurance selected
The applicable taxes and administrative fees are added to each policy, regardless of the number of travellers it covers.
Family premium
The cost of insurance is equal to the total premiums for the 2 oldest family members.
To be eligible for Travel Insurance:
- You must be a Canadian resident
- You must be covered by your provincial healthcare and hospitalization plans the whole time you're away
- Your policy must be issued prior to your departure date and cover the whole time you are planning to be away
- Your trip must begin and end in your home province
