  • Oversees the marketing strategy and go-to-market activities for Ontario, Atlantic and Western Canada (OAW)
  • Designs and implements marketing plans for Personal Insurance and Wealth Management products for the Ontario, Atlantic and Western Canada markets (OAW).
  • Develops and implements marketing plans for insurance products for group business insurance and group retirement savings across Canada.
  • Manages marketing strategies and activities in conjunction with other Desjardins Group marketing teams.


Björn joined Desjardins Group 5 years ago, and has extensive experience in marketing, the OAW market and brand image. Before joining Desjardins, he worked for many years in the financial services sector, particularly in marketing communications and strategy. He is known for his strategic vision, leadership, communications skills and ability to bring about significant change. He holds a BBA with a specialization in Marketing.
