- Reports to regulators on the quality of Desjardins Group’s top-to-bottom operations management
- Provides the Board of Directors and management team assurance of Desjardins Group’s sound and prudent management by evaluating first and second lines of defence
- Raises management’s awareness of the emerging risks facing Desjardins Group
Daniel Dupuis has been with Desjardins Group since 1993. He served as general manager of a number of caisses for over 10 years before taking on the roles of Senior Vice-President, Credit Risk; Executive Vice-President, Caisse Network Support; and Senior Vice-President, Finance and Desjardins Group Chief Financial Officer. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration. He has been a member of the Quebec CPA Order since 1985, and in 2016 he was named a Lauréat d’exception at the UQAM School of Management Science’s 26thGala Prix Performance.
